This Friday’s necklace is meant to be broken

This Friday wears a necklace of black of night
By Annette Marie Hyder
strung with midnight stars.
Each star is a kiss waiting
to tumble free of her necklace
flutter with wings wrought of light
and sizzle
when it comes into contact with you.
(NaPoWriMo day 25, poem 26)
Happy Friday!
